HOGAN’S FOUNTAIN RESTORATION
CHEROKEE PARK, LOUISVILLE
Nestled in Cherokee Park along the Scenic Loop, Hogan’s Fountain is a beloved landmark for visitors. E-Z Construction, in partnership with the Olmsted Parks Conservancy, restored the fountain’s historic charm while enhancing safety and accessibility. By removing nine inches of asphalt, we uncovered and meticulously restored the original cobblestones, seamlessly reintegrating them into the landscape. To further protect the fountain and its visitors, the traffic lane was narrowed to slow vehicles and decorative islands were added for a more inviting, picturesque setting. These thoughtful improvements celebrate the fountain’s rich history while ensuring a safer, more beautiful experience for all.
