E-Z Construction partnered with the Parks Alliance of Louisville and Louisville Metro Parks to help transform nearly 20 acres of former residential property into Alberta O. Jones Park—a vibrant community destination honoring the legacy of Louisville civil rights pioneer Alberta Odell Jones. Developed through an extensive community engagement process, the park provides much-needed recreational opportunities while creating resilient green space in an area once impacted by repeated flooding.

Working within an active urban environment, our team completed the critical site infrastructure and park improvements that brought the community’s vision to life. The project blends recreation, environmental stewardship, and neighborhood gathering spaces through carefully integrated site development, creating a destination that will serve West Louisville for generations.

Today, Alberta O. Jones Park features an award-worthy playground, performance pavilion, walking trails, outdoor learning spaces, fitness stations, and open lawns that encourage recreation, wellness, and community connection.
